I was part of the team at Armchair that created a stand alone site experience for HLN News. We created a uniquely scannable site that featured the daily top new stories and set them apart from their parent site, CNN.com.

We devised two ways of surfacing new stories, with a single featured story on the left and browsable bulleted headlines that allowed users to dig deeper quickly.
The design allowed HLN to create conversations around content, and to engage their audience using interactive polls and other methods to allow them to discuss news stories in a more in depth way.
